The terms that govern your use of the tripPAX app and services.
ME-Tech Solution Sdn. Bhd. ("tripPAX", "we", "us") owns and operates the tripPAX mobile application and related services (collectively, the "App"). This document governs your relationship with tripPAX. Access to and use of the App are subject to the following terms, conditions and notices (the "Terms of Service"). By using the App, you agree to all of the Terms of Service, as may be updated by us from time to time. You should check this page regularly to take notice of any changes we may have made.
ME-Tech Solution Sdn. Bhd. is a company incorporated in Malaysia with its registered address at C-1-2A, Block C, Jalan GC1, Glomac Cyberjaya, Cyber 12, Cyberjaya, 63200 Sepang, Selangor.
Access to the App is permitted on a temporary basis, and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the App or any part of it without notice. We will not be liable if for any reason the App is unavailable at any time or for any period.
The App may contain links to other websites or services (the "Linked Sites"), which are not operated by tripPAX. tripPAX has no control over the Linked Sites and accepts no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them. Your use of the Linked Sites will be subject to the terms of use of each such site.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. To access most features you must register for an account, either directly or via Google or Apple sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and current information when registering and updating your profile.
If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian must consent to your use of the App and is deemed to have read and accepted these Terms on your behalf. Any paid services introduced in the future are available only to users aged 18 and above.
Our privacy policy, which sets out how we collect and use your information, can be found at our privacy policy page. By using the App, you consent to the processing described therein and warrant that all data provided by you is accurate.
The App lets you create and store trip itineraries, accommodation, transport and activity details, notes, travel tips, documents, photos and albums ("Memories"), and chat messages (collectively, "Your Content"). You retain ownership of Your Content.
By submitting Your Content, you grant tripPAX a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce and display Your Content solely as necessary to operate and provide the App, including sharing it with friends/buddies you invite to a trip, or publicly where you choose to mark a trip as public.
You are solely responsible for Your Content and confirm that you have all necessary rights to upload it and that it does not infringe any third party's rights or applicable law.
Certain features of the App — such as pinning locations on a map, or uploading profile and trip photos — require access to your device's location, camera and photo library. These permissions are requested at the point of use and can be granted or withdrawn at any time through your device settings; withdrawing them may limit the availability of related features.
The App offers a feature to generate suggested trip itineraries using our own self-hosted AI system, based on prompts you provide. AI-generated plans are suggestions only, may contain inaccurate, outdated or incomplete information (including prices, availability, opening hours and travel times), and are not verified by tripPAX. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before relying on it, including for bookings, travel or financial decisions.
The App is currently free to use. If tripPAX introduces paid features (such as subscriptions, AI plan credits or storage tiers) in the future, the applicable pricing, billing and refund terms will be presented to you at the point of purchase and will be governed by an updated version of these Terms. Payments will be processed by a third-party payment provider, and your card details will be tokenized by that provider — they will never be stored on tripPAX servers.
You must not misuse the App. You will not: commit or encourage a criminal offense; transmit or distribute a virus, trojan, worm, logic bomb or any other material which is malicious or technologically harmful; hack into any aspect of the App; corrupt data; harass or cause annoyance to other users; infringe upon the rights of any other person's proprietary rights; send any unsolicited advertising or promotional material ("spam") via chat or invitations; or attempt to affect the performance or functionality of the App. Breaching this provision may constitute a criminal offense and tripPAX will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and disclose your identity to them.
We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a distributed denial-of-service attack, viruses or other technologically harmful material that may infect your device due to your use of the App or your downloading of any material posted on it.
tripPAX provides an in-app reporting feature that lets you report photos, memories and other user content that you believe breaches these Terms. Reports are reviewed by our team, and content found to breach these Terms may be removed and the responsible user may be suspended or terminated. We may retain reported content and related records for a reasonable period to investigate reports and enforce these Terms.
The intellectual property rights in all software and content made available to you on or through the App (excluding Your Content) remain the property of tripPAX or its licensors and are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved by tripPAX and its licensors. You may use the App and its content solely for your own personal, non-commercial use. You are not permitted to publish, manipulate, distribute or otherwise reproduce, in any format, any content that appears on the App, nor use it in connection with any business or commercial enterprise, except Your Content as expressly permitted by these Terms.
You may delete your account at any time from within the App. We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the App, without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or misused the App. Upon termination, Your Content may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Before your account is deleted, you may contact us to request a copy of Your Content held by us, and we will respond to your request within a reasonable time.
The App and its content, including AI-generated trip plans, are provided without any guarantees, conditions or warranties as to accuracy. Unless expressly stated to the contrary, to the fullest extent permitted by law tripPAX and its suppliers and content providers hereby expressly exclude all conditions, warranties and other terms which might otherwise be implied by statute, common law or the law of equity and shall not be liable for any damages whatsoever, including but without limitation to any direct, indirect, special, consequential, punitive or incidental damages, or damages for loss of use, profits, data or other intangibles, arising out of or related to the use, inability to use, performance or failures of the App and any materials posted thereon, irrespective of whether such damages were foreseeable or arise in contract, tort, equity, restitution, by statute, at common law or otherwise. This does not affect tripPAX's liability for death or personal injury arising from its negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under Malaysian consumer protection law, including the Consumer Protection Act 1999, where those rights cannot be excluded or contracted away.
You may link to our homepage, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it, but you must not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists. We reserve the right to withdraw linking permission without notice.
Except where expressly stated to the contrary, all persons, third party trade marks and content, services and/or locations featured on the App are in no way associated, linked or affiliated with tripPAX and you should not rely on the existence of such a connection or affiliation. Any trade marks/names featured on the App are owned by their respective owners and are used solely to describe or identify the relevant products or services.
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless tripPAX, its directors, officers, employees, consultants, agents, and affiliates, from any and all third party claims, liability, damages and/or costs (including, but not limited to, legal fees) arising from your use of the App, Your Content, or your breach of these Terms of Service.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts in relation to any dispute arising from these Terms.
tripPAX shall have the right in its absolute discretion at any time and without notice to amend, remove or vary the App and/or these Terms of Service.
If any part of the Terms of Service is unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you) the enforceability of any other part of the Terms of Service will not be affected, all other clauses remaining in full force and effect. So far as possible, where any clause or part of a clause can be severed to render the remaining part valid, it shall be interpreted accordingly.
We operate a complaints handling procedure which we will use to try to resolve disputes when they first arise. Please contact us at support@senangapps.com with any complaints or comments.
If you breach these conditions and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these conditions.
The above Terms of Service constitute the entire agreement of the parties and supersede any and all preceding and contemporaneous agreements between you and tripPAX. Any waiver of any provision of the Terms of Service will be effective only if in writing and signed by an authorized representative of tripPAX.
